This wine comes from the famed Red Willow vineyard and the Sauer family who decided to plant a small block of Mourvèdre high in the site's volcanic soils. Typically more tannin driven, this vintage is peppery, without the addition from hotter sites in previous years. Mahogany, auburn and brick hues. Candied red fruits, spicy cinnamon, white and black peppercorn. Feminine balance and refreshing drinkability.
