Some of the oldest plantings of Italian varietals in the Pacific Northwest, such as Sangiovese and Barbera, are at Red Willow Vineyard where growers Mike and Karen Sauer took a leap of faith back in 1973 to proceed forward with experimental vinifera varieties. Procedo means “to proceed or go forward” and this label pays homage to the Sauers. Concentrated flavors of boysenberry and dark, ripe fruit. Great acidity and soft tannins.
